Welcome to the Aquaculture Product and Marketing Development Project
In 1998, the West Virginia congressional delegation supported development of an aquaculture applied research program at West Virginia University. This site describes the scope of this market-oriented, multidisciplinary effort. Individual objectives of the project focus on the following disciplines: Animal Science; Engineering; Extension; Fisheries Biology; Food Science; Aquaponics; Marketing; Recreation & Parks; and Agriculture and Resource Economics.
